Now... with that picture in mind grab a piece of paper and a calendar and start planning. Today's your day! Why does a person find it difficult to loose weight? There are many reasons. However, three reasons are lack of motivation, discipline and aspiration. Diet motivation has to be part of your daily thinking. Call up a friend and plan together. But first, draw from your own strength, take action and rely on the power within you. It takes much discipline to follow through with the "doing". Without discipline and a plan of action nothing gets done well and you will be frustrated. Set goals that are realistic and easily attainable and have a strong aspiration to achieve. There may be times, however, when you have to adjust or modify your plans. This is o.k. Be light-hearted and have fun with it.
How Well Did You Do? At the end of each month, take out your journal and see how you did. How well did you choose your attitude each day? How committed and consistent were you? How will you choose tomorrow? One size does not fit all. Do not stress yourself. Remember, you will learn valuable lessons if you get off track and dieting and loosing weight did not work the first time. Just start over. Make a simple list of the things you need to do.
